The stop will also host the first Asian edition of The Hendon Mob Championship. That event runs on June 3-4, costs PHP 12,000 to enter, and features a PHP 3 million guaranteed prize pool.

According to Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships at Global Poker Index and The Hendon Mob, bringing the championship to Asia is an important step in building a broader international live poker circuit, with Manila seen as a strong launch location.

Poker, conference access, and networking

The Manila festival is designed as more than a standard tournament stop. In line with the broader SiGMA model, Main Event packages also include access to the SiGMA conference, celebration events, ambassador meet-and-greets, and accommodation options.

The event is being delivered in partnership with Soul Poker Club at City of Dreams Manila, a venue widely recognized in the Philippine poker scene.

Soul Poker Club CEO Edgar Kim said the partnership reflects the venue's intention to raise the standard of poker in the country through international events, strong service, and global cooperation.
